About The Butler's Pantry

Gourmet to go, freshly prepared foods. Enjoy wine, beer, and snacks inside or on our covered patio.

The Butler's Pantry is a grocery store in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is listed at 274 S Sharon Amity Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211, which places it among the local businesses of Charlotte that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as wine bar, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Convenience stores, gas stations and grocery stores appear here because a surprising share of American pizza is sold by the slice or as hot whole pies from a warmer next to the register, especially in small towns and along highways. These are counter-service, cash-or-card, in-and-out stops with long hours, often 24 hours at highway locations. Made-to-order pizza at a gas station takes 10-15 minutes and is usually cheaper than a pizzeria pie; the quality varies by chain and by store. Grocery-store pizza is sold hot from the deli, cold as take-and-bake, or frozen by the aisle.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach The Butler's Pantry at (980) 298-6608; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is cltbutlerspantry.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 69 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded grocery stores in Charlotte.

Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Charlotte follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Hidden gem for a chill afternoon with friends or loved ones. Patty was super helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The variety of foods and snacks is beyond belief. When I walked in I was met with a full menu of meals prepped by a chef just waiting to be placed in the oven. There was also a menu with more deets of serving sizes, prices, wines and over 100+ items for purchase. The covered outdoor seating was surrounded by beautiful flowers on a quiet nook between shops and Ms Patty helped us with plates and ice glasses to enjoy our meal. I got the lunch special; egg sandwich, chips, cookie and drink for 9.99. The egg sandwich was delish! It’s such a nice vibe, highly recommended.

The Butler’s Pantry has become one of my favorite local resources for feeding my family well without the stress of cooking everything from scratch. Whenever life gets busy, I know I can stop in and find delicious casseroles, comforting soups, sweet treats, and great pantry staples that make meals at home so much easier. One of my personal favorites is the grilled chicken. I cook a lot at home and technically I could make grilled chicken myself… but somehow theirs just hits differently (it's the only chicken my cat will eat too lol). It’s always perfectly seasoned and so convenient to have on hand for quick dinners or adding to salads. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is what really keeps me coming back. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and every time I visit I feel genuinely greeted and taken care of. It feels like one of those special neighborhood spots that makes you grateful to shop local. If you’re looking for delicious prepared foods and a warm, community-oriented place to shop, The Butler’s Pantry is a true gem in Charlotte!

Love this place so much! I come here all the time and most recently tried the cottage pie and squash au gratin and they were excellent! 10/10 every time- The main dishes, desserts, sides, all of it- flavorful, sizable, and hearty. The service is helpful and personable. The frozen meals make a great quick and easy dinner idea and they taste like food from a nice restaurant. Thankful for this small business being in my neighborhood!

First time here, can't believe I just found out about this little gem in the Cotswold shopping center. They have wine, gourmet food items and fresh ready made meals to take home and cook. Also, lot's of sweet treats. Adorable little patio and a few inside seats. Andrew, the owner, was so personable and welcoming just like those cute little southern biscuits they have, you will feel right at home. His mama is pretty cool too. We picked up the Trailer Par k Casserole for fun made with Doritios. We may update our review after we cook that. What libations should we have with it, sweet tea or a PBR 🤔

Y’all! This place literally has been Charlotte’s best kept secret but I am letting the cat out the bag! Lol. Absolutely AMAZING!! I went for their special Sunday brunch and everything literally was ridiculously good! Fruit was so fresh, ripe and sweet. Eggs, French toast, homemade bagels with homemade salmon spread….the list goes on and everything was GREAT! But my all time fave was the berry cobbler. I don’t know what kind of addictiveness they put in that crust, but I’m already having withdrawals! Lol. Service was fantastic, met the owner, his twin and their mom. All just the nicest and sweetest people you could meet. They have plenty wine options and take home dinner/desserts, don’t feel like cooking, this is definitely the place to be. I most certainly will be back!
